This commander, chief of a police station in the Negev, fell on October 7th in a brutal battle against terrorists while racing to rescue civilians and police officers trapped at the Nova festival. He was a man brimming with life, a revered commander, a natural leader, and a devoted son. He was an incredible older brother, a model father to four children, and a deeply loving husband. Supremely brave and professional, he had a massive heart and always ran first into danger. When he realized that fateful Saturday that a war had begun, he declared he was going to take command at the festival site. On the way, he intercepted a terrorist squad and fell after a fierce gun battle. He lived as a hero and died a hero.
