This Master Sergeant (Res.) of Ma’alot, a fighter in the 409th Brigade’s 218th Battalion, fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip at age 47. He was killed when he entered a booby-trapped tunnel shaft. In civilian life, he was a revered high school principal. He left behind 5 children.
