Yerucham was a beloved figure in the community, a kind-hearted man, generous with a constant smile, loved by all the children, and very popular in the community. On October 7, he went out to rescue residents from Be’eri and managed to rescue and save precious lives with heroism and self-sacrifice. His heart was broken by the horrors he witnessed, and he was recognized as a war casualty. May his memory be blessed.
